Call for Action- SPS Budgeting and Community Meeting
Wed, Feb 8 7:18am

Seattle Public Schools is facing a massive budget shortfall and is currently working on a budget for the 23-24 and 24-25 school years. The district will be making around $11million in cuts to schools including “Consolidating to a System of Well-Resourced Schools”. The North Beach Elementary PTA is advocating to The Seattle Public School Board and Seattle Public Schools to outline their baseline requirements for a well resourced school. Every student in the district deserves an education that has the same basic resources that can then be built to meet the diverse educational needs of students.
