Seeking Nominations by May 22nd!

Each year North Beach PTA gives out three awards in recognition of outstanding service: GOLDEN ACORN, OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR, AND OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE.

To nominate someone:

• Email treasurer@northbeachpta.org by Friday, May 22nd

• Include the nominee's name and role

• Include which award (Acorn/Educator/Advocate)

• Include reasons (examples are helpful) why the person should be recognized

• Nominations will be kept confidential

Award recipients will be announced at the June 9th end of year PTA BBQ at Carkeek and will be listed in the June 15th Beachcomber.

GOLDEN ACORN AWARD honors a volunteer who has given outstanding service to all children in the North Beach community. 2025 Winner - Vanessa Petersen 

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD recognizes a North Beach educator who has made significant contributions to enhance the education of our students and provided them with outstanding opportunities that go beyond the normal scope of their jobs. An educator may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, or administrator. 2025 Winner - Ms. Hostetler

OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE AWARD recognizes and honors individuals for continued and dedicated service to ALL children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies for the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. 2025 Winner - Fund SPS
