Each year North Beach PTA gives out three awards in recognition of outstanding service: GOLDEN ACORN, OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR, AND OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE.

To nominate someone:

• Email vp@northbeachpta.org by Tuesday, June 6th
• include the nominee's name and role 
• include which award (Acorn/Educator/Advocate)
• include reasons (examples are helpful) why the person should be recognized
• nominations will be kept confidential

Award recipients will be announced at the June 13th general PTA meeting and will be listed in the June 16th Beachcomber.

OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR AWARD recognizes a North Beach educator who has made significant contributions to enhance the education of our students and provided them with outstanding opportunities that go beyond the normal scope of their jobs. An educator may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, or administrator. 2022 Winner -Martha May

OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE AWARD recognizes and honor individuals for continued and dedicated service to ALL children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies for the health, welfare, safety, and education of children and youth. 2022 Winner -Julie Keegan
