We have received feedback that Google translate is an insufficient tool for translating communication to our parent community. In order to serve our Spanish-speaking population better, the APT is in need for translators in two areas:
1. To transcribe written communication sent out via Konstella to the entire OSA community. This will include translating school wide blasts and the weekly newsletter.
2. To verbally translate content at our APT general meetings to those parents who need or prefer to hear the meeting in Spanish.
For those parents who are willing and able to provide one or both of the services listed above, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We would love to have someone translate tomorrow night, if possible, although we realize this is late notice.
We are exploring other language translators as well, but wanted to start with Spanish to begin, as this serves a large segment of our community.
