It's time to kick off our annual OBE Jog-A-Thon fundraiser!
When: during school on October 2nd
Where: OBE baseball field
What: This is the PTA's biggest fundraising event of the year! The money we raise goes right back to our school and students to fund so many important experiences, including Guitars in the Classroom, STEM enrichment, visual and performing arts education (VAPA), field trips, classroom and library supplies, school events and so much more!
Follow these 3 easy steps to support our school and win prizes!
- Register: Visit http://pledgestar.com/oceanbeach and follow the steps. If you have more than one student enrolled at OBE, you can add all students participating at the same time. You will have the option to upload a photo for each child that will appear on the pledge emails.
- Send pledge emails to friends and family: Enter email addresses and send out emails to friends and family. NOTE: students receive a prize raffle ticket for registering and sending at least five pledge emails by Sunday September 20 at midnight.
- Use social media to share your pledge page: Each new pledge will help earn prizes for the student.
Our community has set the goal to raise $55,000 to support OBE. If we meet that goal, Mr. Drapeau will take a dip in the dunk tank! The top boy and girl runner from each class gets a shot at dunking him.
Pledges must be received by Friday, October 9 at midnight (one week after the event) to be eligible for prizes. Prizes will be distributed in early November!
