PTA Board Nominations

The PTA does so much for the kids of OBE! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of parents and caregivers who volunteer a bit of their time to make a big impact on our community. Can you imagine OBE without field trips, Guitars in the Classroom, 4th grade swim lessons, STEM enrichment and fun after-school events like Fall Festival, Art Night, Skate for the Kids, Science Night and so much more? That's OBE without its PTA. We are honored to partner so closely with Ocean Beach Elementary staff to bring as much joy and learning to students as possible—but that can only happen with the help of volunteers!

With all that said, we hope you'll consider joining the PTA board for the 2026-2027 school year. You can nominate yourself or someone else for any role. Voting will take place at the March PTA meeting (Tuesday 3/3/26 @ 5:30 p.m.)

Some board positions take an hour or two a month, while others are work-intensive for just a short period of time (i.e. chairing an event), and some positions are a bigger commitment. All are very rewarding and make a big impact at OBE!
