OBE Families,
We are looking for some volunteers to help create shade around campus ASAP so OBE can beat the heat!
At the August PTA meeting, the association approved funding and received a generous donation to purchase and set up some temporary shade areas around campus. This could include umbrellas, canopies and other non-permanent shade structures.
We need volunteers to help make sure we do this in a thoughtful, cost-effective and logistically sound way.
If you:
* Have experience creating shade that is safe, efficient and maintainable
* Have ability or connections to buy shade (umbrellas, tents, easy-ups, sails) at cost, discount or wholesale prices.
*are a teacher or staff member with ideas or insight
*have time to help with setting up and securing shade around campus
Please sign up below and also email president@obepta so we can start making a plan to keep OBE students and staff comfortable and safe throughout the day.
Thank you and stay cool 😎⛱☀️
