Volunteers ensure the area outside of the school is in good condition by coordinating fall and/or spring cleanup days. Volunteers also implement any other outdoor projects, plan seasonal plantings, and direct the upkeep of the landscaping around the school and playgrounds. Coordinate annual Plant Sale (May) and decorate the school seasonally.

Committee Co-Chair Signed Up: 1 / 1The chair is responsible for creating a proposal & determining a budget for implementing outdoor projects, seasonal plantings, and upkeep of the landscaping around the school and playgrounds. You may like to consider coordinating an annual Plant Sale (Fall/Spring) to help fund the committee. Take into account when planning projects that your committee is limited to donations that our ORS families are willing to generously provide. Additionally, our PTO Board and School Administration will need to approve all Beautification/Planting projects prior to start. When necessary, sign-ups for volunteers and supply donations can be created via Konstella and promoted on our PTO social media pages. Just email your requests to info@orspto.com.
