Silent Auction Committee

Silent Auction Committee

The Silent Auction Committee will coordinate and collect grade level gift baskets for a silent auction during our Uncle Vinnie's Comedy Club Give-Back Night on May 27th. The committee is required to coordinate with class parents/room leads and provide them with their themed basket. Class parents/room leads will collect money or donations from parents in their child's class and create the themed baskets. You will have to be in contact with the class parents/room leads and monitor progress of the baskets being made. You will also have to pick-up baskets by May 25th.

Provided are helpful descriptions for the themed gift auction baskets assigned to each grade level plus special education classes. Alternative themed gift auction baskets are also listed. If you have an idea for a theme gift auction basket which is not listed, please confirm with us.

Themed Gift Auction Baskets

Pre-K—“Sweet Tooth”: Create an overabundant display of candy and sweets. You could focus on a color scheme, a specific brand, maybe all chocolate, or maybe you would rather put together a basket of baking or candy making tools. Think Willy Wonka gone mad!

Kindergarten—“Life’s a Beach”: Coolers, boogie boards, chairs and towels, beach bag, water toys, etc. Always one of the night’s best revenue generators!

1st Grade—“Night on the Town”: However you imagine the perfect night out. It may be date night, family night, ladies night, etc.

2nd Grade—“It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”: Blenders, barware, bar tools, various mixers, alcohol, and miscellaneous accessories makes this Jimmy Buffet inspired basket tons of fun.

3rd Grade—“Spring Cleaning”: Could work as a basket of organization or cleaning items such as broom, mop, various cleaning products, outdoor cleaning supplies, stem vacuum, cleaning service gift card, etc. How about a nice vacuum cleaner? Or try you hand at an all organic cleaning basket.

4th Grade—“Pampered Princess”: This could be geared towards a kid, a mom or a pet. You decide!

5th Grade—“Tailgate Party”: Chairs, folding table, portable grill, lawn games, cooler, portable speakers, food and drink, etc.

Special Ed—“Wine & Cheese Please”: Bottles of wine, glasses, wine fridge, crackers, cheese, gift certs all work well in the easy-to-put-together yet loved by all basket.

Alternate#1—“The Big Apple”: Plan a day (or night) in NYC. Event tickets, sightseeing, shopping, dining, etc.

Alternate#2—“Spruce Up Your Patio & Garden”: New outdoor seating, grill, water feature, matching planters, deck storage, outdoor art, etc.  |  |  Join Us on Konstella
