6th Annual Orchard Fun Run

 

Mark your calendars - October 13th is the Sixth Annual Orchard Fun Run! Come join us for a energizing, and fun event!   

It is so moving to watch students cheer each other along the track and see their huge smiles as they cross the big balloon finish line. 

 

Friday, October 13th approximately 8:30am (early release day) each Orchard student will experience the excitement of a run, walk or ride on a marked course around Orchard Elementary. Each student will receive race day swag. Families are more than welcome to join and cheer on their student(s)! Make a sign of encouragement or bring your cow bell – the more noise the better as the kids make their way around the course.

 

Students will be asked to seek donation dollars of any amount for their participation. Last year, 100% of student raised donations went back to the school, making this our best fundraiser yet. Stay tuned for what the PTO has in store for next year’s Community event.

 

We need your help making this a successful fundraiser and event.

Important details:

  • Students will return fundraising packets to classrooms with all donations. Checks can be made out to Orchard PTO subject line Fun Run or on the konstella link.
  • Race day Swag will be delivered to classrooms the week of the race and students will wear over their clothes on Friday morning.

These volunteers will call and ask for corporate sponsorships. These volunteers will also seek goods for the run like cheese, apples and meat sticks etc. We have a list of prior donors that can be used.

We are in need of a Konstella leader who will be the master organizer and poster for communications purposes. This person will also be the lead problem solver should issues arise.

DJ- for the day of Fun Run Signed Up: 1 / 1

We are looking for someone who has the skills and equipment to play loud music to pump up our runners.

Race Day Volunteer Crew Signed Up: 10 / 10

Organize swag delivery to classrooms morning of, Set up and clean up!

Help sort and distribute T-shirts to classrooms the night before the event. October 12th.
