January 23, 2026
Good Afternoon Families,
New York City is expected to get a snowstorm this upcoming weekend. This inclement weather may have an impact on the opening of the New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) on Monday, January 26th. If there is a school closure due to the upcoming storm, schools will be conducting remote learning. NYCPS will make a decision by Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 12pm.
On Konstella and Google Classroom, your child’s teacher will send a classroom specific message with how to access remote learning and information on what the day will look like.
We ask that prior to Monday, you test your child’s device and login into your child’s Google Classroom to ensure the device your child is using has access at home.
Your child’s classroom teacher is your point of contact should you need support.
Please stay warm and safe this weekend.
