❇︎ Social Justice Run ❇︎ Rain or Shine - NEW Schedule and Map 🗺️
Wed, Jun 18
PS 20 The Clinton Hill School

The Social Justice Run is tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th.

The Social Justice Run will be on rain or shine.  Our students will give their speeches on the issues they have chosen to raise awareness around and we plan to do the run or walk as we have scheduled; however, if there is rain during the event, we may pivot to having the speeches in the auditorium and have to have classes eat their lunch inside during their normal lunch time.

Thanks for your understanding and supporting the PS 20 Social Justice Run.

3K + Pre-K + Kindergarten

Grades 1 - 5

Grades 1 - 3 will return to school by 12pm
Grades 4 - 5 will return to school by 1pm

Parents welcome to cheer on & join their classrooms!

JEDI Committee will host our 5th annual $10K for PS20 Social Justice Run, a benefit run at Schoolyard and Fort Greene Park to raise $10,000 for the school PTA’s Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (JEDI) Fund.

We all know that the many injustices in society are far too embedded and deep to tackle all at once – but just like running, it’s about the individual and taking one stride at a time. With this day of action, we hope to bring more awareness to a variety of issues and engage our corner of Brooklyn, taking meaningful steps each day towards a more Just, Equitable, Diverse and Inclusive world.

Many thanks and appreciation to Fort Greene Park Conservancy, as well as our event partners: Kelvin Coffey and Define New York Run Club, Futbol Rebels, Hoops Academy and Mosaic at PS20.
