Good day Clinton Hill Families:
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Every year 1 in 8 women and approximately 2,670 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States alone.
Each October the students at PS 20 participate in a friendly fund raiser competition.  Most years our school has donated over $2,000 to support Breast Cancer Research and Awareness.  Each class will be given a container to deposit thier change.  This year we will separate the grades into two groups, 3K-1st grade and 2nd - 5th grade. The class in each group that raises the highest amount for Breast Cancer Awareness will have the choice of either a Pizza Party or an Ice Cream Party. All monies will be donated to the American Cancer Society in the Clinton Hill School's name.
On Fridays we wear Pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness.  During the last week of October we will have the Clinton Hill Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.  Classes and or grades are asked to design signs and chants to support this effort. 
Please allow your children to bring in spare change during the month.  The contest will end November 3, 2025.
