Please consider joining the Brotherhood Planning Committee - a joint parent, teacher, administration committee - to help organize and plan PS 20's Brotherhood Celebration.
The week of February 13th, PS 20 will be inviting the families to join our celebration of Black history, culture and Brotherhood.
Classes will be sharing their tributes to Black history and Brotherhood through performances, class presentations, poems and visual art.
The Brotherhood Dinner was started about 20 years ago during Black History Month at PS 20 to promote family, unity, community, and the celebration of the African diaspora. Through the Brotherhood Dinner, we celebrate the diversity of our community by sitting down together at the table enjoying the diversity expressed through food, which allows us to understand each other better as we look towards the same goals for all of our children.
