Dear Parents and Families,

PS 20 is starting a collection of specific food and clothing items that are urgently needed by hundreds of migrant families in our neighborhood. At this time, there is an immense need for warm men’s clothing and shoes (all sizes), packaged underwear and socks for children and adults (all sizes), toiletries, and microwavable or instant foods and snacks to supplement what is provided by the shelters.

We’ll also send notifications of ongoing volunteer opportunities and when new collections are needed, so stay tuned! See the attached flyer for more information on the items that are sought now, and contact international@ps20.org for more information and to get involved.

You can bring your donations to the collection boxes located across from the main office starting on Monday, January 22nd.
