Human Root Workshop #3 - Building an anti-bias and equitable community (pt 1)
Wed, Apr 3 6:00pm-8:30pm
PS 20 The Clinton Hill School

*Childcare and pizza will be provided by Kaleidoscope/PTA*

We encourage you to come early, get settled in, and chat with other parents so we can get started promptly by 6:15.

We had an amazing turnout for the second session on March 21 with nearly 50 parents! If you didn't attend, please feel free to join for the next workshop. Your voice matters-- the more representation of our school community the better.

THE HUMAN ROOT is working with PS 20 to build a sustainable community and engage parents and teachers in establishing intentions around race, culture, and equity.

This is a series of 5 workshops. Future workshops are as follows:

April 16th - Building an anti-bias and equitable community pt 2

May 1st - Understanding microaggressions: intention & impact

While we believe committing to all sessions will have a greater impact for the community and its development, it is not mandatory.

Check out the attached flyer or for more information.

We hope to see many of you there!
