PS 20 The Clinton Hill School
1 day before

Join P.S. 20 on Friday, February 16 from 8:30am to 12:00pm for the Brotherhood Celebration.

The Brotherhood Dinner at PS 20 was started almost 20 years ago during Black History Month to promote family, unity, community, and to celebrate the African diaspora. By sitting down together at the table for a shared meal, the Brotherhood Dinner honors the diversity of our community and helps us to understand each other better as we work on achieving the same goals for all of our children.

This year, classes will be sharing their tributes to Black History and Brotherhood through performances, class presentations, poems and visual art. Parents are invited to join classroom presentations as well as share food and company in the Cafeteria! (See schedule below for an overview of the morning's activities and presentations.)

Keeping with PS20 Brotherhood tradition, we plan to break bread and share a meal—this year breakfast—to help bring our community together and build bridges across our diverse community.

👉 Please RSVP for this event and consider bringing food to share! (online form)

We also will need family members to help receive & set up donated food, clean up, and help make the event run smoothly for all.  (Please use the separate Volunteer sign-up on Konstella).

We hope all can join us for this wonderful PS 20 tradition!
