Dear Parents/Guardians: 

 The safety and well-being of our students and staff members at The Clinton Hill School remain our highest priority.  To this end, we are writing to inform you that this morning, out of an abundance of caution, we conducted a hard lockdown where the campus was locked and students and staff members remained in their classrooms due to reports of an unknown individual in the school.  All of our students and staff members are safe.  NYPD was notified immediately and the lockdown was lifted after it was determined that there was no threat to the campus, students, or staff members.   Classroom instruction was not disrupted.

We assure you that every precaution was taken and will continue to be taken to ensure the safety of our students and staff members.  We look forward to your continued partnership as we work together to ensure that The Clinton Hill School continues to provide the best and safest learning environment possible for all students and staff members.
