Dear PS 20 Families,

100% attendance is our goal for all students. Attending school every day will support your child’s academic success. If your child is absent 18 or more days, they are chronically absent. With regular attendance, students learn the skills and habits that lead to success beyond school.
 
All public schools are required by NY State regulations to maintain records that verify student attendance.  Attendance is recorded daily. Late arrivals and early departures are also recorded daily. This applies to all students from grade 3K through grade five.
