COMMITTEE UPDATES & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• The International & Multicultural Families Committee invites parent volunteers to co-lead our upcoming monthly multicultural celebrations and help keep our IB cultural values—diversity, inclusion, and global understanding—strong and visible, especially in today’s challenging political climate. Ideally, we’re aiming for 3–4 volunteers per event so these celebrations can move forward. ➡️ Email analourdes@ps20.org or complete our form

  * Help with Ideas, food, activities, storytelling, music, or crafts

• Community Support & Service - We are no longer accepting winter clothes donations. We will be doing a spring/summer clothing drive after Spring Break, so please hold all appropriate donations for then! All are welcome to 'shop' the Community Closet on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings after 8:30am. 
  

• Fundraising Committee is gearing up for PS20 PTA’s Spring Gala -- our biggest fundraiser of the year -- seeking amazing items for the live and silent auction at The Love Ball!

  * Donate Items: We welcome all donations such as apparel, jewelry, artwork, lessons, dining & entertainment experiences, special services, and vacation home stays!

  * Find Sponsors: Do you have connections to local businesses, restaurants, or organizations that might sponsor the event or donate something special? Help us reach out! Sponsorships can be monetary or in-kind donations (e.g., catering, auction items, event services).
