Dear PS20 Community,
Thanks to all our students and community for an amazing first Math-A-Thon which raised a lot of much-needed funds to support all STEAM activities! Thanks to our families who were able to participate in Literacy Committee's Book Swap, Families as Learning Partners, Family Art Night and we appreciate all parent volunteers for a wonderful final Movie Night of the Year last Friday. Thanks to all who were able to join Rainbow Club to celebrate and walk in the Brooklyn Twilight Pride Parade on Saturday.

COMMITTEE UPDATES + VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
International & Multicultural Committee: Hi everyone! We’re all set for THURSDAY, JUNE 18th with capoeira, mariachi band, and an animation about Juneteenth, followed by an amazing Mosaic first movie production 🎉 Now we need help with food and decorations—including the traditional piñata. Who’s in? How can you contribute?
We're reaching out to Tacombi about food donations. We’ll need volunteers to help prepare food for 70–80 people, such as:
* Rice and beans
* Carnitas or chicken
* Tortillas
* Salsa and guacamole
We also need:
* Piñata filling
* Prizes for Juneteenth trivia
* Juneteenth-themed decorations
Other Latin American countries ?? Represent people!!! Please let us know how you can help—thank you all! Please start spreading the word!
