Dear PS20 Community,

Thanks to all who were able to join us at the New Families Mixer last Wednesday. More mixers for families of all grades are being planned!

Hope everyone had a great time at the PS20 Annual Literacy Parade this past Friday. And applause to the Literacy Committee for the book giveaway to students & classrooms


Thanks to all our volunteers and generous bakers who contributed to this morning's Marathon Day Bake Sale! Our next Bake Sale will be for Election Day this Tuesday November 4 ➡️ sign up for a morning or afternoon/evening shift!  


JUST LAUNCHED ➡️ Please join our annual effort to fight food insecurity in the PS 20 community during the holiday season. This effort is more important than ever as families face greater uncertainty due to the federal shutdown. This year we are setting a fundraising goal of $10,000 for this effort. ➡️ Donate here! Also, be sure to stop by the schoolyard on Tuesday November 4th for a coffee or a treat on Election Day -- all proceeds from the bake sale will  go directly toward this urgent cause.
Together, we can help ensure no family goes hungry!

Looking for ways to engage with the school more? Many of the activities and programs that make PS20 special are created and directly managed (and paid for!) by you, the PS20 community, through our various committees. Any amount of contribution is welcome whether that’s with ideas, time, elbow grease or money!
