Dear PS20 Community, 

Thanks to all our students and school community who participated in the PS20 Read-athon 2025 -- we collectively clocked over  100,000  minutes and raised much needed donations for the school! Winners will be announced soon, so please sit tight.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • PS20 Talent Show "Twenty's Got Talent" auditions are live! Submit your audition video by Friday, April 4 ➡️ www.ps20.org/talentshow 
    Also seeking volunteers for set design, video, program / poster design, stage crew, stage managers, ushers, etc ➡️ contact Mr Chung.

  • Annual Appeal continues -- the PTA spends around $500 per student for the year, please chip in ➡️ www.ps20.org/donate

PTA COMMITTEE UPDATES/REMINDERS

  • Come by the Community Closet for coats, boots & shoes every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday after drop-off from 8:30am-9:30am in Room 126 (as always, all items are free).  Look out for a Spring/Summer Donation Drive coming soon!
  • Seeking auction items and volunteers for our annual Spring Fundraiser ➡️ https://ps20.org/gala. This year, the fundraiser will be a community dance party inviting all families, children and friends. Join the Love Ball Committee to make our Spring fundraising party and auction the best yet! ➡️  fund@ps20.org 

  • Lost & Found is at capacity! Please check the racks and bins located between the Gym & the Cafeteria for jackets, hats, gloves, water bottles and more. 

  • Do your part for a lice-free school! Please try to regularly and thoroughly check of your students' hair for head lice -- treatments are most effective when done twice within the same week. The Community Closet keeps a stock of free lice combs + shampoo kits.
