Thank you students, families and teachers for making the second PS20 Reads! Read-A-Thon an astounding success! All together, the students of PS20 read over 200,000 minutes and raised over $20k for the library and literacy programs! The level of excitement and commitment from the students was incredible - over 440 students participated!

An incredible 25 classes met their grade thresholds and won ice cream parties! We would like to give a standing ovation to the all-star 61 students who read over 1,000 minutes! (see list below)

Read-A-Thon may be over but let’s keep this enthusiasm for reading going! Students can continue to add to the book title garden display in the main hallway and look out for the suggestion box where they can tell us what books they want for the library.
