Right To Be Virtual Training (TOMORROW) - Anti-Bullying & Harassment Bystander Training
Wed, Jan 17 6:00pm-7:30pm
Zoom
1 day before, 3 days before

Please join the PS20 Community on Wednesday, January 17th from 6-7:30pm on Zoom (link below) for a training session that will teach us how to stop harassment and bullying with a set of simple and safe tactics.

With an uptick in antisemitism, Islamophobia and other hate crimes over the last few months, we think this training will help our community better understand each other’s fears and concerns and more importantly will empower us to stop acts of hate and bias, stand up for each other and become an even stronger community.

This bystander training to help stop harassment and bullying will be run by a non-profit called Right To Be.  Right to Be’s trainings equip people with the tools to combat harassment in their everyday lives.  Topics covered include bystander intervention, how to respond to harassment, conflict de-escalation, resilience, and more.

We think this training will be helpful for parents and teachers so they can learn how to stand up against harassment and bullying and help fight against intolerance.

This training is open to all adult members of the PS20 Community (Parents, caregivers, teachers and school staff).

We hope you will be able to join us.
