Hi P.S. 20 community,
We know that there have been many questions about supply lists. The school apologizes for the delay as Ms. Barbera and the teachers are currently revising the supply lists to make them as affordable as possible. In other words, items are being divided into what is essential for each student to have and what is communal for the class and can be purchased by the PTA or coordinated by a class parent.
Students don't need their supplies on day 1 and can buy them over the first week or two, as the school has built up an inventory of most of the supplies over the last couple of years. Ms. Barbera will share more about supply lists at the Back-to-School Meeting on Wednesday, September 1st, from 6-7:30.
