If you have an hour during the day and are willing and able to help out with lunch and recess, please consider signing up for a volunteer shift.  Volunteering responsibilities include supervising students during lunch and recess (in the cafeteria and outside in the playground and the outdoor eating area) and helping kids who need it (maybe helping open a lunch container, encouraging throwing trash out, and identifying and sometimes intervening when there is conflict).  We also have a need for parents who have an interest in organizing games and activities during recess - especially for the older grades.

Volunteer shifts start 10 minutes before the lunch & recess period begins.  Volunteers must sign in at the security desk, have a proof of at least one vaccine dose and must wear an ID which will be provided by the school.

If you haven't volunteered before or done the lunch and recess training, Ms. Colon will reach out to you in advance of your shift.

If you are interested in supporting 3K through Kindergarten recess, please contact your child's teacher or your class parent to see how you can support your child's class.
