A message from Upper Grade Science Ms. Sarah and Ms. Fiona
Tue, Mar 31 9:39pm

Dear 3rd. 4th and 5th Grade Families:

Hope this finds everyone well.

This message is just for the 3rd 4th and 5th grade families I apologize for sending this to the whole school community.

Dear Families,

We hope you are all doing as well as you can in these circumstances.  After one week of distance learning, we are humbled and very grateful to have the resources we need to try this new mode of learning.  We also realize we may have assigned TOO MUCH science work on Google Classroom.
Please know that any science work we assign during this period of distance learning is ungraded and optional for your child.  We want to provide your child meaningful science work, IF he or she has time for it.  And you are the best judge of that.  The work is there if you need it, we certainly do not expect all students to do all assignments.
The best part of distance learning has been seeing and connecting with students on our live chats.  We are only 6 days into this, but in each class we have had enough student work to share and discuss to have a lively and enriching science class.   If your child feels bad because they have not done all the assigned science lessons, please reassure them that it is okay and we definitely want them to log on and participate in live science class.
Our schedule for live science classes:
3-1: Mondays at 1:00 pm
3-2: Wednesdays at 1:00 pm
3-3: Tuesdays at 1:00 pm
4-1: Wednesdays at 10:30 am
4-2: Thursdays at 10:30 am
4-3: Fridays at 11:30 am
5-1: Fridays at 10:30 am
5-2: Tuesdays at 11:00 am
5-3: Mondays at 10:30 am
Please email us if you have questions or concerns.
Our hearts are with you in this,

Ms. Sarah and Ms. Fiona
