Dear Children's School Families,
Planning has begun for Arts and Science Day! It will take place on Saturday January 20th, 2018 from 12-4pm. The day is a lot of fun and includes a variety of art and science inspired activities as well as musical performances by our talented kids.
We are currently looking for parents who would be interested in leading activity stations. We would like to have 6-8 art activities and 6-8 science activities. In past years, we have had stations for simple machines (gears, pulleys, levers), medical testing (BP & heart rate), jewelry making, painting, costume shop. You are welcome to lead one of these activities or suggest something new.
Our list of stations so far includes:
Science - slime, paper plane engineering and possibly a chemistry station
Art - print making, origami and sound design
If you have an idea for an activity station, please contact the Arts and Science Day committee at email@example.com or join our committee on Konstella. We will give you support with planning, budget and help recruit volunteers once all the stations are decided.
Thanks so much!
