Our next Bike to School Day will take place on the morning of Wednesday, November 9. Please note that this is a HALF DAY(11:30am dismissal) of school for Parent-Teacher Conferences, which may affect your plans for the day. Our Bike to School rides are a fun time to be together, get kids energized and focused for the school day with an active start, and commute safely & sustainably.
We currently have five meeting points to Carroll St throughout the school district where we can gather before school, depending on the location most convenient to you, and bike, walk or roll to school with each other.
- Boerum Hill - meet at rehabilitation center on Pacific Street (between Bond and Hoyt) at 7:30am
- Kensington - meet at Greenwood Ave and Prospect Park SW at 7:10am
- Park Slope - meet at Prospect Park West and 3rd St (by the lions) at 7:30am
- Prospect Heights - meet at S/W corner of Bergen St and Underhill Ave at 7:40 am
- South Slope - meet at N/E corner of 11th Street and 4th Avenue at 7:30 am
We will plan to get to school at 8am so that students can lock bikes on the racks and arrive on time to class. We will enter the yard at the regular time - if you need to store your bike in the yard please keep it in line with you so your child can drop it off in the yard before heading to class.
