Dear D15 Friends and Families,

Queridos amigos y familias del D15, 

 

The New York City Department of Education (DOE) does not consent to non-local law enforcement, including Immigration and Customs Enforcement, accessing NYC public school facilities.  The DOE will not waver in protecting the rights of immigrant families on public school grounds.

El Departamento de Educación de la ciudad de NY (DOE) no permite actuar a cuerpos policiales no locales, incluyendo los agentes de Inmigración y Aduanas, ni que accedan a las instalaciones de las escuelas públicas de NY.  El DOE no dudará en proteger los derechos de las familias inmigrantes en el espacio de las escuela pública.
