Good morning Children's School Families and Community:

  • Tuesday, May 17 - PreK to 2nd Grade JJ Byrne Park (4th Avenue and 3rd Street)
  • Wednesday, May 18 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades JJ Byrne Park (4th Avenue and 3rd Street)
  • Thursday, May 19 6:1:1 Kindergarten to 8th Grade - big school yard at MS 113 9am to 10:30am

Field Day is a school wide event for all of our students at our ICT and 6:1:1 sites. This is a fun day of relay races and school community togetherness.

Just a few gentle reminders regarding Field Day for our ICT families:

All students should come to school as normal. Attendance will be taken at school. No one should bring their child to JJ Byrne Park.  Students should wear sneakers, no open toed shoes or flip flops. Sunscreen and hats are recommended and all students will wear their Field Day t-shirts. They say it will be in the 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday so dress accordingly. Students will bring their lunch so parents pack them a lunch and we will also have cold school lunches available.

ICT Parents, please meet us at JJ Byrne Park around 9:20am. We hope to begin around 9:30am. You may bring blankets to sit on, snacks and water. After the  activities the students will have lunch and then around 12:30 we head back to school.

We ask that you do not purchase any ice cream and/or ices for your child while we are at the park.  Also, we will not dismiss any students to parents at the end of Field Day. All students must return to school after the event. It is a full day of school.

6:1:1 Families:

Field Day will take place Thursday, May 19 in the big school yard of MS 113 around 9am and end around 10:25am.  Please dress your child accordingly, sunscreen and hats are recommended. Families will enter the large playground on the Adelphi Street side  near the main entrance.

Field Day is a great a way for our school community to come together and have a great time. We love that the parents come and cheer on their children.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Can't wait to see you all at Field Day 2022

Thank you,
