PS 372 -The Children's School

The District 15 Diversity Outreach Project is hosting a FREE Children's Concert with the band CityStomp this Saturday , Jan. 5, from 11am - 1pm at the Sunset Park Library branch on 4th Avenue and 43rd Street (Entrance on 43rd Street).  CityStomp is a children's music band, is a lot of fun and features Adam Strum, a PS 372 parent!

The D15 Diversity Outreach Project is being led by a D15 parent and funded by Brad Lander's Participatory Budget.  The goal of the project is to help schools who are part of the Diversity in Admissions Program reach their goals.  This is accomplished by doing outreach to under represented families in District 15 to let them know that the three un-zoned elementary schools in their district (BNS, PS 133 and The Children's School) are options when they apply for Kindergarten.  This year, we are hosting a children's concert in the Sunset Park Library branch.  Please come to enjoy the music with your family and to help get the word out to families in Sunset Park about District wide schools and The Children's School in particular.

If you can help with pre-event publicity or day of event set up, information table staffing and clean up, please email Michele Greenberg at: michele.greenberg@gmail.com.

Flyers in English, Spanish and Mandarin are available for download on Konstella.

Thank you,
