New to the school, or been here a while? Either way, being a class parent is a great way to volunteer.

Hello parents,
My name is Meredith and I am a parent of a 2nd grader. I am also the Class Parent Coordinator.
What is a class parent? It's a crucial part of how we build a school community at The Children's School. A class parents help families stay up to date with school information, help support teachers, and organize a playdate booklet for grades Prek-3. They also coordinate class gifts for teachers (an art project in the spring). It's a great way to stay up to date with the PTA, your class teachers, the school administration, and to create community in your classroom.
Ideally each class has between 3-5 class parents.

Once we have a group of parents, I'll organize a quick (virtual) orientation and give you access to the email addresses & templates you'll need to get started. It's pretty straightforward and a great way to be involved with the goings on at the Children's School.
