New York City Schools Account - NYCSA
Wed, Apr 19 11:46am

Hello Children's School Families:

Hope all is well.

We have about 2 more months of school left and I am reaching out  to all families to make sure that you have set up a New York City Schools Account (NYCSA) for your child(ren). If you have not set up this account please let me know.

This account gives you all the information on your child from report cards, transportation (school bus services) IEPs, health and other important school information.

Below is just a snap shot of what this account has for parents.

NYCSA Portal Landing Page

The new NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Portal will allow you to:

  • See your students grades, test scores and more in My Student
  • Take classes in Parent University
  • Report bullying
  • Access forms for your child
  • Reset your child's DOE account password
  • Access SupportHub

All with one login!

MyStudent

Track your Student’s Academic Progress

Did you know that you can track your child’s education on any computer, phone, or tablet? In MyStudent, you can track your student’s academic progress. View their grades, schedule, test scores, transportation, attendance, and more! If your student has an Individualized Education Program (IEP), you can view their student’s recommended services. You must be linked to a student in order to view this information. See the Adding Students section to learn how to link your student to your account.

This account will be very useful come this summer for those students who attend our Chapter 683 summer school program and take the bus to and from school. Again, this parent portal will also have the school bus information for the September 2023-24 school year which is usually posted by mid to late August.

There is a push at the district school level that at least one or both parents open a NYCSA account so that they have the information at their finger tips on their child's school information.

If you have already opened an account I THANK YOU. If you need to open an account please let me know and I will give you the information on how to set this up. If you have more than one child you can add them to the one account and see all of your children's information.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you,

Yvette Agas-Bautz, Parent Coordinator
