The recording of last night's PTA meeting is now available.   The minutes will be posted on inclusions as well.

Some highlights: 

• Ms. Rosa shared updates on the new security cameras (installed but not yet operational), upgraded WiFi (coming!) and the new playground (construction is close to moving forward dependent on some open tickets at the church). 
• Mr. Frank talked about the new school newspaper. If you haven't been reading, you should start!  Publication is once a month.
• Ms. Yvette updated us on admissions for Fall 2024 with K and PreK applications having upcoming deadlines (Tomorrow for K!).  We have seats open in upper grades as well, so let your networks know or write a review on InsideSchools.org for potential families researching their options.
• Friday is the second free lice check of the year. Unfortunately there have been cases already this month in a few classrooms, so be prepared in case you are called.
• On Saturday the school will be hosting a resource fair for our new immigrant families.
• Jan. 26 is Movie Night (free) in the Carroll Street Gym at 6:15 pm. Volunteers needed.
• Jan. 31 is School Spirit Day
• Feb. 1 is the start of the Readathon. Details coming soon.
• Feb. 2 is the start of Session 2 of Pizza Friday.  If you want to sign up or need to pay for Session 2, please do so by Jan. 30. Not sure if you already paid?  Email pizza@ps372pta.org to check.
• Feb. 10 is the Valentine's Day Lunar New Year Dance Party!  This epic schoolwide dance and general awesome time that all families are invited to is from 5pm - 8 pm in the Carroll Street gym.  Day-of volunteers will be needing to corral the fun, and if you want to help plan, look for the Valentine's Day Committee on Konstella under... committees.
