PS 372 -The Children's School

REMINDER: Roots and Community Celebration

Saturday October 21, from 5:30 - 8pm in the Recreation Center

The Children’s School is committed to welcoming ALL children and families.  We believe that our school will grow in strength as it becomes more diverse in race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation and class background. Come to this fun and relaxing event for parents and children where we get to know and appreciate each other by celebrating the cultures, ethnic heritages and nationalities of Children’s School families through a potluck dinner, cultural tables and performances by Children’s School parents and staff.

PLEASE help us make this event a success by signing up to bring food representing your national or ethnic or cultural heritage, helping out at one of our culture tables or helping with day of event tasks.  Many of our cultural tables need people to sign up so that there are enough people to help our students try out the activities.  You can look at the tables and see which ones still need help by clicking on the link below. If your table has enough people signed up, you will be able to work for shifts that last 45 minutes to an hour. Remember that you do not have to share the table’s identity to help out at a cultural table!!

To sign up to help with one of the cultural tables: cultural table sign up

To sign up to bring a dish for the potluck dinner: pot luck sign up

To sign up to help with set up, staff the entry table, staff pot-luck tables, make posters or clean up: set up, clean up and staffing sign up
