Dear Children's School community,
Compost was just delivered for the Garden Committee's Tree Care Event happening tomorrow at the Carroll Street School garden! It's a thing of beauty! Join us at the corner of Denton Place and 1st Street tomorrow from 3:30-6pm to tend to the trees around our school. Please fill out the Tree Care Event Sign Up Form to RSVP. Any amount of volunteer time is appreciated.

Are you interested in taking care of the ecosystem around our schools?
On Friday, March 24th from 3:30-6pm, Anneliese Zausner-Mannes from Big Reuse will be visiting our Carroll Street school to facilitate a Street Tree Care event for parents, students and staff! She will also educate us on composting basics, and how compost can help the trees on our block thrive.
Our science teachers regularly bring the kids to collect scientific observations on these trees - they are a vital part of our school ecosystem, and could use your help to flourish!
Please join us in learning how to best take care of the trees on our block, which provide our students and science teachers with so much. As with all Garden Committee events: parents, students, and all school community members are welcome to attend. Fill out this form to indicate interest, and we will see you after-school on the 24th: Tree Care Event Sign Up Form. Even if you can only come for one hour, your presence and assistance will be appreciated.
