Dear D15 Families and Concerned Citizens,Borough President Eric Adams' Public Hearing on the 80 Flatbush Avenue development proposal will take place tonight , 6:00 pm, at Brooklyn Borough Hall.If you testified at the CB2 hearing, you can submit the same testimony or add more. You do not have to speak but it is imperative that you sign in and list yourself as opposed if you disagree with the terms of this proposal. Speakers will be given three minutes each and the meeting has no time limit.
If you are unable to attend the public hearing, please submit written testimony and statements by Monday May 28th via email to: email@example.com.
In our CEC15 Resolution dated July 2017, CEC15 opposed the 80 Flatbush Ave proposal and we stand firm today. The elementary school that is being offered is far too small and the 900+ residential units being proposed will exacerbate overcrowding in our district.
We hope that you will stand with us in opposition to the 80 Flatbush Ave project and let Borough President Adams know that the community and families of District 15 deserve better. As always, we thank you for your support.CEC15
