PS 372 -The Children's School

THANK YOU to all the families, and their employers, who have already contributed to the PS 372 Annual Appeal. We are so grateful for your support of this major fundraising initiative and the impact it has on our school community. This year we are trying something NEW. Instead of asking for $5 here and $5 there, instead of charging admission at every event, instead of asking for money for Lice Day, the PTA has decided to consolidate our fundraising into our four major events- Annual Appeal, Readathon, the Gala/Auction, and Pizza Friday.

We are relying on you to please support the PTA with your donation to the Annual Appeal. Is your child enjoying a Lunch Club? A studio? Writing an opera? Playing chess? Learning ballroom dance? Is your fourth grader about to receive a new laptop? Have your children played outside in the big yard under the new lights at an evening event? All of these things and MANY MORE are happening thanks to your financial support of the PTA.

Have you enjoyed free of charge our October Movie Night, October Lice Check or Roots and Community? Will you be joining us for our upcoming free events like January Movie Night, January Lice Check, Arts & Science Day or the Valentine’s Dance (February)? Being able to increase participation at these family events, by making them FREE for all families, is important and supports our mission of Inclusion.

THE PTA CANNOT PROVIDE THESE OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR CHILDREN WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT!

Last year participation in the Annual Appeal was 30%. Our goal is to significantly increase that to 50% this year. Though we suggest $180 per child, a tax-deductible contribution of ANY amount is an acknowledgment of the need for and remarkable impact of The Children’s School on your child’s and family’s lives. Please give as little or as much as you can to support the amazing work that our PTA is doing to enhance our children’s lives at school.
