Wed, Jan 30 2:16pm

Please be advised that NYC Emergency Management has issued the following Hazardous Travel Advisory for this afternoon, January 30.

The anticipated bursts of moderate to heavy snow and/or squalls are expected to most likely hit around 2:00 – 5:00 pm causing slippery roads and low visibility.

Department of Sanitation has been on alert since yesterday and will be prepared to activate immediately.

We are planning to proceed with after-school activities for this afternoon. However, we are encouraging families to exercise extreme caution today, and pick up their students from school at the end of the regularly scheduled day or earlier from the afterschool program if it is safe to do so. Student safety is of the utmost importance to us.
