Fall has begun to settle in and weather changes are unpredictable.
ALL STUDENTS must be prepared to be outside on each day they are at school.
Jackets and coats have become necessary. Hats, scarves and gloves will be needed soon.
ALL STUDENTS will be outdoors during arrival, dismissal and recess each school day.
There is limited use of indoor space as mandated by the State Dept. of Education.
PARENTS: Please check the weather report each day.
If there is a possibility of rain, please dress students accordingly. Don't forget boots or waterproof shoes when there is a possibility of precipitation.
Place extra clothes in the backpack to assure they will be comfortable in the event of sudden weather changes. As you know, you can leave home without a jacket some days. An extra jacket, sweater, or rain poncho will insure your child will be protected.
If you are unable to provide these needed items, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 718.965.1190 ext 2132.
Enjoy the lovely weather and a three day weekend! Schools are closed on Monday, October 12th in honor of Columbus Day. We will see Cohort A at school on Tuesday, October 13th.
