On May 17, 2018, the PS 10 PTA will elect a new executive board for the 2018-2019 school year. As a member of the PTA, you are eligible to run for any executive board position. We encourage you to lend your skills and talents to the day-to-day operations of our organization.
Being a member of the executive board can be a considerable time commitment, including committee work, event and volunteer management and community building, but it is a rewarding experience that enables you to influence how the PTA financially, academically and culturally supports PS 10. Each executive board member is required to attend monthly meetings, typically scheduled for mornings, and 1-2 summer planning meetings. Each position is elected for a one-year term (July 1 – June 30) with two consecutive terms being the limit.
