September quickly flew by but it's never too late for introductions. If you were not able to attend our town hall meeting or other parent information sessions you missed meeting our new interim acting Assistant Principal, Ursula Luciano. We are fortunate that Ursula has joined our community as she brings a wealth of experience in and out of the classroom.
Here is a brief bio and, as always, feel free to introduce yourself.
Ursula has taught at the elementary level for nine years in different classroom settings. She has taught students in a general education classroom setting, students with disabilities, and students learning English as a Second Language. She believes in providing a collaborative learning environment for the entire school community in order to foster interactions and professional growth. As an educator, she was a lead teacher, facilitated in making school-wide decisions, was part of an inquiry team, contributed to curriculum planning in Literacy, and maintained constant communication within the school community. Her hopes are to continue sharing her knowledge and love for learning in providing a well-rounded education for all students.
