Letter to Families from the P.S. 10 Administration
Sun, Mar 22 8:12pm

Good evening parents,

We hope that you read the chancellor’s letter which has up-to-date important information for you and your child, as well as updates on obtaining technology. As we get ready to embark on the remote learning journey together tomorrow, we wanted to reach out to you on the behalf of the dedicated and hard-working staff here at PS 10. They spent much of last week, and much of their weekend planning, collaborating and finding resources to share across the grade levels in order to prepare for tomorrow and beyond.

Most importantly initially, we want to make sure that every child is able to login and that the teacher will be able to record attendance. This process will require patience on the parts of our students and their families as well as our teachers. Some are more accustomed to using this sort of technology than others but the unique nature of the situation levels the playing field for all of us.

While most assignments for your child will come directly from the teachers based on the planning that took place last week, we will also be posting a variety of resources later in the week that parents can use to access for supplementary materials across subject areas and grade levels.

As we have always done, we will continue to partner with our families in making sure that P.S. 10 students receive the amazing educational experience they are accustomed to...WE ARE 10!
