Author readings & signings. Crafts & face painting. Last-minute gifts. Books for your classroom. There's also still time to sign up and volunteer (no experience necessary). A percentage of your purchases go directly to the PS10 PTA. It's all at the Park Slope Barnes & Noble, 267 Seventh Ave.

PTA GENERAL MEETING – December 21
The next PTA General meeting will be on December 21 at 6pm in the auditorium. All parents and guardians are welcome. Lice Free Noggins will be on hand for a workshop and will address lice detection, myths vs facts, prevention and more. There will be free childcare (for children in Pre-K and above) and free pizza for the kids. Please come out to hear the latest from the PTA.

INTERNATIONAL POTLUCK DINNER – January 26
The Diversity Committee has been planning the annual International Potluck Dinner, which will be on January 26th, more details are coming soon. In the meantime, if you’re interested in helping to plan this event please sign-up for the Committee on Konstella or come to one of the weekly meetings, on Wednesdays.

2nd & 3rd Grade Saturday March 10 at 3pm
4th & 5th Grade Saturday March 10 at 5:30pm
Registration and audition information will be sent home the week of January 2.

USED LAPTOP DONATIONS NEEDED BY PS10 FACELAB COMMITTEE
FaceLab is a family engagement initiative that trains parent volunteers in K-8 schools to support teachers in leading hands-on robotics and technology activities with students. PS10’s FaceLab Committee is offering an EV3 Lego Robotics workshop to all 4th grade classes this year. Class 4-411 currently has 15 teams building robots and are ready to move into the programming stage but do not have enough laptops available for all teams. FOLEY FIRS – CHRISTMAS TREES
If you and your family will be shopping for Christmas trees this season, please visit Foley Firs on 8th St. and 8th Ave or their website to order your tree online. This local business supports area schools with a donation for every tree purchased. They offer free delivery and setup and will be open until December 23rd.

5TH GRADE COMMITTEE – SENIOR DUES
We are starting to collect Senior Dues for our 5th graders. Dues may be paid online in full or via monthly installment at: http://www.ps10.org/donations/5th-grade-senior-dues/. Cash and checks should be sent in care of Eileen Fallon in room 210, please ensure that your check and/or cash envelope fully state the name of your child and classroom, and make the check payable to PS10 PTA. The online option also allows parents and guardians the ability to sponsor another child's Senior Dues in full, by half, or by quarter.
All monies for the Senior Dues must be in by January 30, 2018.
