Bringing Hockey to Physical Education
The Physical Education curriculum is planned around the sports and games the students ask us the gym teachers to learn, including themes, as well as ones they want to play. This is the first year we will be teaching our students hockey. They will learn the history of hockey and basic skills from holding a hockey stick to passing and scoring. The teachers are asking to families to donate money to purchase the equipment; visit their Donors Choose page at this link.
Shopping for 10 - Amazon and Others
The Konstella Amazon program helps PS10 earn money shopping on Amazon. Konstella will donate 2% back to PS10. In order for the purchases to be eligible, parents must go to https://www.konstella.com/amazon (or click on any Amazon link on Konstella) to shop. We will also receive the donation if you have PS10 listed on your smile account, just click on the Konstella link every time to purchase. You can also support our school PTA fundraising by shopping with the vendors at the below link. With each purchase the PTA earns a small click percentage. https://www.ps10.org/shopping-for-10/
PS10 Breast Cancer Walk
We all have different reasons for participating but we share a determination to help save lives from breast cancer. There are so many ways that the money our team raises helps. It's helping fund innovative research. It's providing free information for people dealing with the disease. It's providing rides to treatment and places to stay for people who have to seek treatment far from home. In short, our money is helping save lives.
We still have items for sale (no more snack or food items) and we hope to sell out everything next Wednesday Oct. 24, 2017 during the lunch periods.
It's not too late to donate on-line. Visit makingstrides.acsevents.org and search for the team: PS10/K280 Making Strides It's almost time to walk together. Please join us and see the power of being YOUnited™.

Lost & Found!
The lost and found is starting to get large. Please remember to come and check for your child’s lost items in the back of the auditorium. We will eventually sort and give away clothes that are not picked up. Additionally, a reminder if you’re tired of losing your child's lunchbox, gloves, coats, water bottles, sweatshirts, hats, backpacks, school supplies, etc you can purchase some labels through the Mabels Labels Fundraiser for PS10. Avoid rifling through the lost and found this year and support PS10 at the same time by fundraising with Mabel's Labels! To purchase your labels, visit this link. Before purchasing, make sure you see "You're Supporting PS10 (Brooklyn)" in the top left corner of the website.
