Please join us for PS10’s first big event of the school year: TENSTOCK!!
On Saturday, September 21st from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, we will be hosting an awesome day filled with fun: games, crafts, sports, bounce houses, face painting, yummy food, a chili cook-off, music and more!!
Only two weeks to get your tickets! Tickets for the fair are $10/each or $35/family four-pack. The proceeds from this PTA-sponsored fundraiser go directly to funding important school activities like arts, enrichment and learning support. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Fri., October 4, 8:30am | Parents as Learning Partners
Friday is the kickoff for PS10’s Parents as Learning Partners, aka First Fridays. On the First Friday of every month, from 8:40-9:30am, parents are invited into their child’s classroom to participate in a special project. Immediately following at 9:30am, in the Cafeteria, is PS10’s Parent Coffee, an informal discussion (following each First Friday) on various topics discussed by school officials.
Sat. October 19, 6:00pm - 11pm | Fall Progressive Dinner
Save the date for a fun, adults-only dinner that travels from house to house, from front-porch cocktails to backyard BBQ. This is a wonderful way to meet other PS 10 parents while supporting the PTA. Extended Day Fall Registration is OPEN
Registration and class information is now available for the Fall Session of Extended Day (PS10’s afterschool program). For more information and to fill out the online lottery form visit the website at this link.
How to Join Your Classroom Konstella using your mobile phone
- Select Messages tab at the bottom of the app
- On the top right of your message board, select SEND/JOIN
- Select Join Classrooms
- Select your child’s name
- Select the classroom number
Please note, if you have more than one child, you will have to go through the steps for each one.
Family Fun Pass – Pre-Pay and Access All Family Events for the year!
We are very excited to offer families a way to pre-pay for entry to our family friendly events in advance! The Family Fun Pass will be $80 for a family of 2 and $160 for a family of 4! It will cover admission to Tenstock, Three Movie Nights, PS10’s Got Talent, STEAM Fair and the Authors’ Visit event. You will save approximately 20%! Purchase the pass here or in the PTA office.
Auction & Tenstock Planning & Volunteers Needed!
Auction & Tenstock planning has begun and we need parent involvement to make these two wonderful events a success. Please consider volunteering your time at the event or join the Committee on Konstella. Hear more about both events as the Committee Fair. We need your help!
Gladiators Chess Club & Team registration is OPEN!
PS10 Gladiators Chess Club & Team registration is open! Wednesday’s Chess classes afterschool for beginners to advanced level! Kindergarten to 5th Grade! Everyone is welcome! Also, we have a limited number of spots for Friday afternoons if kids want two classes a week. Reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org for scholarships and questions! We want everyone who wants to play to play!

PS10 is collecting Box Tops!
Looking for an easy way to raise money for PS 10? PS 10 is participating in the Box Tops program throughout the school year and all the proceeds go to the PTA’s general fund to support enrichment activities for the students. Box Tops labels can be found on many products including LARABAR, Annie’s, Ziploc, Papermate, various cereals, and many more. There are two ways to submit Box Tops to PS10:
1) Clip any Box Tops dated after 09/30/19 and put them in the collection box located outside the PTA office.
2) Download the Box Tops App! Click here to download the Box Tops App for easy submission without the clipping. Once you’ve downloaded the app and selected Public School 10 Brooklyn as your school, just scan your receipt right away whenever you buy products with the Box Tops label and our school will receive the proceeds.
