Dear PS 107 Families,
I'm happy to report, for the second day in a row, we have no new positive cases of COVID at PS 107. Today, 91% of students were in attendance in the building.
But don't stop reading there! Because I also have an important update about our school food menus. Due to widespread and ongoing supply chain disruptions, there may be substitutions for what is printed on the menu. These are unpredictable and generally we cannot inform you of these changes in advance. However, even if the main menu item changes, the cafeteria generally always has peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and cheese sandwiches.
You may want to mention that there is always the possibility of a surprise menu change to your children. If you feel they are inflexible eaters and won't eat an unexpected main menu item (or a PB&J or cheese sandwich) instead, you might consider having them bring a lunch from home.
On that note, tomorrow (Friday), the cafeteria will be serving pizza instead of macaroni and cheese.
Finally, today's Bake Sale for the Bronx Fire Relief Fund organized by Class 4-307 raised $1200 in less than one hour! Truly remarkable. Thank you all for your support.
