Dear PS 107 Families,
I will now be sending these schoolwide notifications once a day and will include all cases reported to me in a 24-hour period in one notification. Please note that I will also be holding a Town Hall tomorrow, Friday, January 7th, at noon, to provide information on current DOE health and safety protocols, as well as answer your questions. You can join the Town Hall tomorrow on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85638032221?pwd=UXRBV2tiL1dSQTEzTTMrYUFpRHlVdz09
I am writing to let you know that two members of the PS 107 community tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
These cases involved individuals who were in the school building this week. Parents of children who were directly affected received an email (NOT a Konstella) from me already. These children will be coming home with an at-home test kit today.
Both cases also exposed children in after-school groups. An email to parents of children who were exposed in after-school was sent from Sandy Phillips. Those children will also be coming home with at-home test kits today.
If you did not receive an email directly from me or Sandy Phillips, there is no further action that you need to take, other than keeping an eye out for possible COVID symptoms. I have attached the official DOE letter regarding these cases. Please reach out if you have any questions.
